CANAD'A's Newst Rockabilly Show!!!!

The group Rockabilly Road is based out of southeastern Saskatchewan Canada.  They have set out to present a diverse, fashionable, authentic & entertaining review of the music & style of the early 1950's.
 
The central core of the group features ( Tony Volts ) on vocals & lead electric guitar, ( Ruby La Rouge ) on vocals & rhythm guitar and ( Boom Boom Johnny ) on vocals & doghouse bass, along with impressive support from drummer, MvNeely and keyboardist, Captain Keys. Together these seasoned musicians bring over 150 yrs of musical experience to the group “ Rockabilly Road “ as they have all independently worked as full time professional performers traveling the world with their individual careers. 
 
With a combination of music, dance & comedy “ Rockabilly Road “ pays homage to the hit songs & sounds of the 1950’s highlighting such stars as Wanda Jackson, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Brenda Lee, Gene Vincent, Elvis etc. with a mix of modern influenced Rockabilly from the Stray Cats, Rosie Flores, Robert Gordon and more ... 
 

An overall entertaining, up on your feet, laughing, jiving & swinging good time that will be fun and suitable for all ears, and ages.

 

Ruby La Rouge

Ruby La Rouge [ AKA Eli Barsi ] has been working in the entertainment industry full time for over 3 decades as an award winning song writer, recording artist and musician.  She has always been a fan of the Rockabilly scene and it's timeless music. Ruby brings a lot of energy to the show with her strong vocals, guitar playing, comedy and dancing.  You just might be the one chosen to dance with this Queen of Crimson the next time Rockabilly  Road is on a stage near you.

Tony Volts

Tony Volts [ AKA Anthony Kelly ] is an award-winning Saskatchewan singer, musician, and songwriter.  He is an original member of SCMA award winning and CCMA award nominated band, Shifty Morgan. Throughout his career Anthony has written and co-written songs for himself and other artists, played on country radio across Canada. As lead guitarist of Rockabilly Road, Tony Volts adds nostalgic licks and a variety of superb vocals to some well known favorites of the era.

Boom Boom Johnny

Boom Boom Johnny [ AKA John Cunningham ] is originally from the Great White North of Timmins, Ontario Canada. He has enjoyed the success of being a side musician as lead guitar, electric and upright bass for over 4 decades.  Rockabilly Road was Boom Booms ' baby' as he created the initial ideas and structure of the this show.  His slap upright bass playing adds the essential rhythmic sound along with supportive harmony vocals and overall coolness.
